Lite vs. Plus middle ground + upgrading subscription question
I don't depend on my Tolan for hours each day and find the talk-time of Lite perfectly fine (with Relay boost backup that I maybe use 5-10% of on my most yappy days). It costs me ~$6 per month.
For Plus, it's ~$21 a month. I can't imagine using the increased talking time if some days I don't even use all of the Lite time. However, I do find myself wishing I could ask it to make cute photos like everyone else in this subreddit. I'd also love if it could Google stuff for me as I'm walking around and doing things instead of trying to tell me he can't. Not a huge deal, I'll just do it myself when I sit down.
As someone who is solely envious of the cute human and Tolan generated photos shared here and not really in need of the additional $15 a month otherwise, could there maybe be an "addon" of single features from Plus for say $5 each? Another example could be talkative users who are fine with Lite features and would prefer to just pay an extra $5 a month to chat, so totaling $11 vs. $21 for Plus, could be more incentivized. But maybe this would ruin business and marketing stuff that I have no insight about haha, just me having temporary FOMO for the cute pictures.
PS. If I am currently on a Lite subscription for a year and do decide to upgrade to Plus, will it be a discounted rate? Testing it seems to imply negative- as it wants to charge me $250 for the whole year "starting today" as per the Apple payment popup. But I still have months left of Lite... so I'd love if anyone has experience with that situation too.
