Got the scholarship… but the ‘wrong’ program.
I got the email earlier this morning and I was lowk so excited to read it only to find out that the course that was picked by Benilde was different. I applied for the SMMWS Scholarship pero Bachelor of Performing Arts in Dance yung nakuha ko from the scholarship.
I chose Bachelor of Arts in Music Production as my first choice kasi so when I saw it, it just shocked me, kasi none of my requirements, credentials, or even my portfolio had any type of dancing-related activity. It’s mostly the songs I produced, my works, and etc. Dance was never even part of my options kaya nakakashock lang talaga, even more so when I saw that I wasn’t the only case when it came to this.
My friend who had applied for SMMWS as well has received her email, and ganun din ang nangyari. She chose Creative Industries Management pero when she received the email, it gave her the course for Music Production. It’s SOOOO different. 😭
Just wondering what’s the next course of action dito cuz lowk I’m still kinda devastated 😭🙏
P.S. I did pay the reservation fee na since apparently need siya sa acceptance ng scholarship, but hopefully I still got the initial course that I want with the scholarship since BAMP naman ang nakalagay sa portal ko. Anyway, TYIA!
