Spanish R qualification?
Mono-English school setting for a Tri with a Spanish dominant 4th grade student. They cannot produce Spanish /R/ trill, have some difficulty with /r/ tap clusters (partially gr, kr), and little to no difficulty with English /r/ (90% accuracy). Student also has poor school and session attendance and made little to no progress on Spanish /R/ goal since qualification. Other goals were met. Educational impact is hard to determine given factors like limited attendance and English skills. Would you continue to qualify? Why or why not?
