Brick wall sliding outwards at the damp course joint, how worried should I be?

Hey all, after some advice before I get a structural engineer or builder out.

The top section of brickwork above the damp course (black membrane) appears to have shifted outwards along the slip plane where the DPC sits. You can see the overhang at the corner where the upper courses no longer line up with the bricks below. The DPC itself is exposed and lifting.

A few questions for anyone who’s dealt with this:

1.	How serious is this typically? Is it a slow movement issue or something that needs urgent attention?

2.	What usually causes it? Footing movement, lateral load from the slab, thermal expansion over years?

3.	Who do I call first, structural engineer, builder, or bricklayer?

4.	Any rough idea on cost to investigate and remediate?

5.	Should I be monitoring it in the meantime (crack gauges, photos with measurements)?

House is brick veneer built in 2015

Cheers!
