Hello I’m a third year university student in philosophy and I’ve reached a cross roads for my future. I’m debating (and struggling) on whether I should do a masters degree in philosophy or counter terrorism and insurgency. I’m graduating out of a Russel group uni and have the chance to carry on pursuing philosophy further as a masters. However I also have the chance to do a masters degree at an equally qualified university in counter terrorism. I’ve been learning French and other soft skills such as analytical thinking through philosophy. I’ve just been wondering what the best path is for me in order to become a case officer.
