"I see so much of myself in that boy I want to apologize to him for his existence"
BTW this is kind of a rambling post
I'm once again rewatching the series! for like the 11th time and this quote has always stuck out to me, because well it seems to be well wrong. Doc has way more similarities with dean, they both have Red hair, there both skinny, they both wear a lot of red, there both cowards uhh they both have a incredible sense of self-loathing? I realised they actually dont have as much in commen as I had Initially thought. I started to think What other traits define Rusty, Hes impulsive, he's creative hes verry outgoing and sarcastic, sure hes a coward but he never lets people stop him from doing what he wants, if he wants to do something he's going to do it, not really any traits that Dean has. There more like hank.
his ideas are never practical there more based in science thank hanks but hes always making pointless shit, Like the walking eye, Venture stein, A atomic Vacuum, the Ooy-ray, he'll figure out what to do with it later. Hes also never backed down in the series he's scared of danger but always doing dangerous things and picking fights with people who could easily kill him. Heck maybe thats why brock gets along with Hank and Doc the best.
The final nail in the coffin making me realize how similar he and hank are is when he finds he's a clone at the end of the movie, "Were are the boys, I got to blow their tiny minds... again" he doesn't give a crud hes not going to spend a whole season depressed over it. Well that's my two-cents hes not entirely like hank hes not as driven or as good of a person he doesn't have morals like hank
