How current do the current affairs have to be? Just passed my medical last week and starting to prep for OASC but obvs don’t have a date yet so am conscious some of my affairs might be outdated by then. I’m thinking of doing the following topics:

Home

- resident doctor strikes

- girl guiding and trans children (too controversial?)

- failure of the levelling up funds in my local area and how it is affecting the town and people within (no council ran swimming pool or leisure center in my town and haven’t had for the last 6 years)

- mobile phones in schools

- smoking ban

abroad:

- geopolitics in the North Pole is the only one I’ve decided on so far

are these decent? Is there enough to know about them to be satisfactory?
