Looking for reputable PHP (might consider IOP) options for our 17 year old in the Hampton Roads or Richmond area. She’s been diagnosed with DMDD, anxiety, depression, and binge eating disorder. Anyone with experience at CHKD or VCU? Or any others you’d recommend? She’s been in therapy for over a year, but I don’t really think it’s helped her at all. She’s really struggling with near constant irritability and insecurity which has made it virtually impossible to maintain friendships. She had a recent suicide attempt and spent 6 days inpatient - she enjoyed the structure and made the best of it. Looking for something to give her coping skills and help with emotional regulation.
