Hello, I just started my first full time job as a teacher and everything has been going well so far. I am not certified and I work at a charter school that does not require certification, but offers a good pay raise for it. I do have my eyes set to be a lecturerer at a college in the future and I wanted to know any advice on how I could get there. I am interested in getting a doctorate in the future to help, I just want to know what major I should go for with this goal in mind.
Could a masters degree in Master's of Arts in Teaching be great for this route? Or would it not? Any potential alternatives?
Note: I currently have a bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering though I didn't feel passionate about engineering itself. Also I am looking to get into a PhD program down the line whether it be for a science filed like biology or education.
