Application/Position Navigation

Hi all, I am graduating with my MBA in December, and currently have 3+ years of work experience. Would it be best to apply now or closer to graduation? I’m thinking of applying for an Associate position (probably the manufacturing position, as my work experience is in manufacturing).

Also, I saw that one of the qualifications for Associate was 6 years experience. So should I be applying for Analyst roles instead?

New job- 2 weeks notice

Good day,

Have any of you ever started a new job internally at your current(or previous) employer, then almost immediately upon starting, you got a job offer at a company that you really wanted to work for or position you really wanted to be in? I’d so, how did you go about putting in your resignation after having only done the job for a short period?

By “short period,” less than a month, only a couple weeks

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Master’s Degree- Pay increase

Hi all,

Is it something that’s heard of for managers to provide a discretionary merit when you complete your post graduate degree?

I know degrees don’t automatically equate to more pay, but is it something that managers do (or consider) at LM?

Tuition Assistance

Hello,

I’ll be starting at Lockheed in the near future and wanted to ask about their tuition assistance. Has anyone gone through it, or know how it works? I’m sure (like most companies) you have to stay there for 1+ years after finishing or you owe. But do I need to be there a certain amount of time before being eligible?

For reference, I’m an MBA student (expected Spr ‘27), I’m also enrolled in an MS program (expected TBD, on pause rn but need 6 more classes).

Anyone familiar with GEM Fellowship, and is it different from Lockheed’s “traditional” tuition program?

Any likelihood of me being able to dual enroll in their tuition assistance program?

Sign On Bonus

Hi all, I just received an offer for Lockheed Martin. Do they offer sign on bonuses? How have you guys gone about requesting one?

Little context (if it matters at all); I am coming with a few years of prior work experience, so this is not my first job right out of college.

Cancelled Interview

Hi, so yesterday, I finally made it to the interview stage in one of my applications to the company. They scheduled a specific time, then rescheduled for a different time (that now didn’t work for me). I went into LEO and rescheduled for one of the other times available. Today, I got a notification saying that my interview was cancelled and that they’re no longer able to move me forward in the recruiting process.

Has this happened to anyone? Just a cancelled interview seemingly out of nowhere? Was I wrong for rescheduling??
