Job query after returning to India

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to transition from the USA to India and would appreciate guidance from professionals who have recently navigated the Indian job market.

I have extensive experience in Capital Markets, working in Senior SME and Technology roles with a strong background in Microsoft technologies. While I am currently employed in the USA, an internal transfer to India is not guaranteed, so I am actively exploring opportunities in the Indian market.

I would be grateful for any advice on:

* The current job market outlook in India for senior technology and Capital Markets professionals.
* The most effective ways to secure opportunities while still based in the USA.
* Recommended job portals, recruiters, networking strategies, or hiring channels.
* Companies that are actively hiring experienced professionals in this domain.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions and insights.

I140 options in last year

Hi,

I am working for a IT Service company.

I received an email from the company attorney stating that my PERM recruitment process cannot continue for now because they are receiving a large number of qualified candidates for my profile.

My current visa is valid until March 2027, and if I recapture approximately 4 months spent outside the U.S., my H-1B max-out date would extend to around June 2027.

  1. What options do I have to continue staying and working in the U.S.?
  2. Can I explore opportunities with another company that may be willing to start a PERM process?
  3. Does anyone know of consulting or contracting companies that sponsor PERM for experienced professionals?

Any guidance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.
