Wheelchair accessible room??
Wondering if anyone has any insight on this? So what if you become dependant in a wheelchair later on in life. I did some searching and couldnt find any examples of accessible rooms. There would be issues with stairs, needing a shower chair etc in someone elses home - someone allowing you to use a chair in their place. Its brutal to find a place on ODSP in the first place but now your physically disabled. What happens say if you have a progressive disease? Do you just get thrown on the street. Then shelters are inaccessible too. I asked a social worker but never really got an amswer. Searching online I cant really find anything other than a retirement home. Is this just another level of fucked? If someone has inisght please share
