Downloading files with too long names causes PC to freeze?
Recently had a major issue and had to reinstall windows all over again. I had no idea why until now.
I was downloading some stuff where torrent name is super long and in japanese letters. no problem for all this time right until I started downloading some more again.
Is this a known issue? Do too long torrent names (but folder+file are small size) actually cause pc to freeze up?
I feel like I never had this happen before and maybe it's a recent windows update conflicting with overly long names. Just wanted to ask in case it is known or others are having similar issues.
EDIT: It might actually be having too many torrents open at the same time? All names and paths (along with C://) are under 150 characters long. Kind of explains why I got this freeze only when I was downloading ton of stuff at the same time. But as soon as I removed all of the torrents, I am no longer having any freeze.
