Worried that my mom may die from CHS

My mom has had CHS for 2 months now and it hasn’t been getting any better. The first time she showed symptoms, she was extremely nauseous and violently vomiting. My stepdad drove her to the hospital and she stayed there for 3 weeks. The hospital released her and she was getting a little better.

She was talking, able to eat (not much but a little), and walking on her own, but then the doctor told her she could smoke a little weed because they didn’t have a proper diagnosis and they thought it would help her a little with her symptoms. Then she was back in the same state she was in and had to go to another hospital. She stayed there for a month and got released again. The doctor then finally gave a proper diagnosis, CHS. She has not been eating well and has been getting very tiny, only weighing 86 pounds since the only thing keeping her alive was an IV bag.

Today, we just discovered that she was not responding and foaming at the mouth. 911 was called and the paramedics came into our house. They checked on her and they said that she was slowly responding. She was then taken to another hospital. I’m so fucking scared that I’m going to lose my mom, she’s been suffering like this for a couple months. And to those who have CHS, I am so sorry that you have to go through this and I hope the best for your recovery.
