I've noticed that whenever her name comes up in general philosophy or book subreddits, the reaction is instantly hostile. Why do you think she triggers such a negative reaction from the mainstream compared to other thinkers?

If a person's highest moral purpose is their own happiness and self interest, does condemning homosexuality and socially enforcing gender expectations not completely destroy the idea of egoism?
