Picked up a new Snowsky Echo Mini while in China last week. Turning it on it says

Hardware: 1.1.7

Software 1.1.0

Which seems really old? AFAIK, it's on 3.6 now?

So I tried to update it - no microsd card is installed, reformatted the internal storage via the snow sky itself, dragged the latest .img file to root (since I reformatted it - there is no other folders), turned it back off, back on and it just won't update. Doing it on a windows PC

Thought maybe it can't do that big of a jump - so I tried installing 2.0, 3.0, 3.5, etc and no matter what I drag over - I can't get the mini to update.

Not 100% sure what else to try - thanks in advance
