Moved into a new place late last year and I’ve been slowly working through cleaning up the garden. This is a cool little nook at the side of the house that I’m working on. The last picture is what I got around to today
I’m a minimalist and not really big on collecting things, other than collecting video games I suppose. I don’t like having a lot of clutter. But I did want one Funko Pop, so I took my time and picked one I thought was badass: Jin from Ghost of Tsushima
Ghost of Tsushima is my all-time favourite video game
Anyone else here just have a single Pop rather than a whole collection, and if so, what’s your one that you’ve got?
I’m renting in Victoria and had an issue with a smoke alarm today
Whilst I was at work, my housemate messaged and said the smoke alarm started beeping loudly around 11am. She contacted the real estate agent straight away. It took them a while to respond, and they initially said they’d send someone tomorrow
After my housemate explained it couldn’t wait that long, they said they’d organise an after-hours callout. We’re still waiting
The agent also told my housemate on the phone not to remove the battery or she could be fined.
When I got home from work, the alarm was extremely loud (not just a quiet chirp). You could hear it from outside. I tried all the troubleshooting I found online, but nothing worked, so I ended up removing the battery just to stop the noise
Am I likely to be fined in this situation?
