I built KariPom — an open-source face robot for M5Stack CoreS3 🤖
Hi! This is KariPom, a little open-source face robot I’ve been building with the M5Stack CoreS3.
It started as a simple expressive face, but I kept adding things I wanted to see it do. 😄
Now it has servo movement, blinking and nose twitching, audio-reactive visualizers, lots of animated lighting modes, a Web Cockpit for configuration, SD card support, and more.
I originally built it as a little companion for voice conversations with ChatGPT — having a physical character reacting beside the computer makes talking with AI a lot more fun. 🤖🎙️
I’ve also made a PC-only version, so you can try KariPom even without a CoreS3.
Everything is open source:

I’ve had a lot of fun seeing how far I can push the CoreS3. Hope you like it!
