From 83 to Infinite with C6
55% winrate C6 Deck, +0.68 average cubes over 152 games
Had a great time with my favorite deck, surprisingly the only one I managed to successfully use to get to Infinite. Other decks, even supposedly "meta" ones failed me, but my bro Cerebro never did! I will post the deck code in the comments.
Tried several different variations before, but until Crystal got buffed, nothing worked. Now she provides a great boost to consistency, allowing you to find Cerebro, Moonstone and Mystique much more frequently. Cards your opponent draws don't really matter if you find you combo.
With Moonstone/Mystique and Cerebro your locations easily get to 24 or 36 Power, and with both of them in the same location as Cerebro it's 18/36/56 Power in locations with 1/2/3 6-Power characters. Insane numbers, a lot of decks either can't compete or don't expect it. I've stolen quite a few cubes from opponents not respecting this deck.
Sera is quite important as the deck is expensive, so Luna Snow and Wave are here almost exclusively to get Sera down on T4. If Sera is in hand, prioritize Luna Snow, then Wave. If Sera is not in hand, you can still play Luna, it's always good, but never play Wave, it's useless to you and sometimes insanely good for your opponent. If you can guarantee 3-4 6-Power cards at two locations, you can even Mystique your Sera to dump everything on the last turn.
Stardust is the only Tech card here, sometimes it's just a 4/6, but sometimes it wins you games against big dude decks, Brood, Nimrod, etc. Be wary of Luna and Malekith, there is an obvious countersynergy here. If I had Cosmic Ghost Rider, maybe I've swapped Stardust for him, but idk.
Malekith is there to have more chances to find Cerebro, obviously, but also don't sleep on two 6-Power cards for 4 energy. He can win locations on his own a lot of the times, and sometimes give you access to destroy/move locations. Also DON'T PLAY HIM AFTER STARDUST.
Luke Cage is as good here as in any other Cerebro deck. Maybe even better bc there are usually so few 6-Power cards in play, even -1 Power on one of them can lose you the game. Also Luke Cage off of Malekith can surprise the opponent with an affliction deck.
Maximus is usually dumped on the last turn, but you can safely weave him earlier if he will draw no more than 1 card for your opponent. I think another 6-Power body is worth it.
Locations are always tricky for Cerebro, and while Luke Cage can save you from negative Power, you can do nothing with unwanted buffs on your cards. If it's only one location, just ditch it and stack the other two, if it's two of them, just cut your losses and go next, one cube won't make a difference.
A few times I managed to turn my deck into a C8 by using two locations that give +2 Power. There are quite a few of them in the game, so it happens more often than you'd expect.
Tech can shut down this deck very easily, so don't show your Cerebro before T5-T6, and if you have to, don't play it on the front row.
C6 is definitely not for high level play, but climbing to Infinite seemed quite easy for me, maybe some of you will find the same. Good luck on your climb!
