How much driving is too much on a private tour?

As the title says. I've been curious about becoming a self employed tour guide, and the first tour I want to design is about the unique water and coastal defence situation here, its history and the engineering behind it. These would be private tours, so only one group of up to 8 guests.

I have 2 sites in particular I would want to show where guests stay 1,5 hours each where I or (through an arranged private visit) an employee on site explains more about the coastal defence, plus two little monuments with an interesting story to finish before heading back. The issue is that this together with the travel to and from sites takes quite long. 2*1,5= 3 hours for the main sites, plus 2*30 minutes is another hour is 4 hours. Add another hour for lunch and the day is 5 hours in terms of activities.

The driving, starting at the pick up point and ending with dropping off back there, is 335km of mostly highways. This means higher speed, but also congestion during rush hour. With little to no traffic this would be almost 4,5 hours of driving, but with traffic this could be 5 hours, maybe even reach 6 in some particular nasty days. Though rare it is something to take in consideration. It means that on those days guests are, from the moment they are picked up, 10 to 11 hours on the road, which is quite long. 2 of those 4,5 to 6 hours are from driving from and back to the main tourist hotspot. With how tourist stays are spread across the country the vast majority of potential guests will stay in that city. I anticipate most of my clientele to stay in that city. So now I fear both that the amount of total driving might be too long, and even if that isn't too long that the ratio between activities and driving is too skewed towards driving and feels like it wouldn't be worth it for visitors.

What are your thoughts on this? Anyone else has experience on hosting activities/tours which are further away from where you guests stay?
