The Twitter account "The Disney Beat" announced that we'll have a lot of exciting things in store for September.

A new music video will premiere on September 4th, and every week of the month, new episodes of something called Dragon Striker: Gorotama Stars will be released.

I don't know what the latter will be, but who knows, maybe we'll get little sneak peeks like in the Meet the Players clips.

Analisis del la canción de la escena flashblack de Odward y Casper

For this scene, a song called "Hunter" by SATV Music was used. Besides adding a bittersweet touch to the sad love story of Odward and Casper with its melody, it's the lyrics that interest me most, as they make you think about many things.

Here are the lyrics:

"Your love is likea fatal bite

I lost the fight

This twisted game

We can't escape

A tainted flame

I'm a sheep to your wolf

A prey in the dark

Bleeding deep, in the snow

A prey on the run

Run from the hunter

Iim going under

I think I'm losing ground

I am the haunted

You are getting closer

Chase me down to the ground

This twisted game

Our bitter fate

We can it escape"

The song is about prey fleeing a hunter, highlighting how the entire act of hunting is twisted and fatal. It undoubtedly serves as a metaphor for a toxic relationship where, for the good of both parties, they shouldn't be together, but they refuse to end it.

This suggests that Odward and Casper shouldn't get back together. However, if we only focus on the parts used in the scene (which are black and curved), I think the real hunter is the love that Odward and Casper still feel but refuse to acknowledge, and the prey is their shared fear of being vulnerable.

If you recall, throughout season one it has been made clear that both are egocentric, and knowing that ego is often a mask or barrier that hides insecurities, low self-esteem, flaws, and vulnerability, revealing only the most perfect and confident version of the individual. This is a big problem because everyone is shaped by a balance between their good and bad sides, but for an egocentric person, showing vulnerability or admitting their mistakes is the worst thing that can happen, for fear of rejection and unrequited love.

With this in mind, it's logical to think that the prey represents Odward and Casper's fear of being vulnerable, and the hunter is the love they still feel. Because love is something that makes us vulnerable, allowing the other person to know everything about us, even the things we don't like about ourselves. One of my favorite analogies related to this is something the YouTuber Farid Dieck said: that love is giving someone a gun with the confidence that they'll never use it, referring to our most vulnerable side, with the confidence that they'll never use it against us.

In conclusion, this song perfectly describes how both boys feel deep down, and it's both sad and fascinating. Finding a balance between ego and vulnerability can be a form of character development. Although that applies more to Casper, because Odward has made a lot of progress in that area throughout the season while with the Knights, showing that beneath his ego and cynicism lies a kind person who cares about his loved ones. That's why I think Casper will eventually develop in the same way.

Especially after what happened in the last game, which was undoubtedly a point of no return for Casper, he has two options: sink deeper into his ego mixed with hatred, or he can reflect and grow personally.
