I want to get a copper IUD and just recently moved to a new city so I don't have a go-to gynecologist here yet.

I've found a doctor who seems very promising, but the part of her website that talks about IUDs states that her goal is "thorough information and counseling followed by a low-pain insertion" (translated from German). Shouldn't the goal be a pain-free insertion? Is this a red flag or completely normal?
