Hi! So, I'd like to know how you guys box with a mouthguard, especially when it comes to breathing, because I have a little trouble exhaling. I breathe in through my nose and out through my mouth. When I throw punches during a fight, I exhale through the sides of the mouthguard, but when I do that, I “drool”—it often sends little droplets of drool flying, and over time it gets pretty unpleasant (I drew a little picture so you can see what happens, the mouthguard is in grey).

It might be handy if you’re trying to blind your opponent with venom, but I’m a human, not a cobra.

Is this normal? Could it depend on the quality of the mouthguard?
