Best translation earbuds for traveling in China?

I've got a month-long trip to China coming up. It’s mostly for business, but I'll be doing some sightseeing on the weekends.

I’m looking for a reliable pair of translation earbuds. I need to use them for some local meetings, so accuracy is super important, and they need to look decent in a professional setting.

I’ve seen Timekettle mentioned a few times online, but not sure how they actually perform in real-world business settings. Open to any other brands too! Thanks!

Best gadget or purchase that made WFH way better?

I've been working remotely for a while now, mostly dealing with international clients across different time zones. During this time, I started investing in gear that actually solves the "distance" part of WFH.

I'm curious about what's the one thing that turned your home office from a temporary setup into a space you actually enjoy? Here are a few that did it for me:

Fully Jarvis Bamboo Standing Desk

I used to think standing desks were overrated until my lower back started screaming at me every afternoon. Switching to the Jarvis was a total game-changer for my energy levels. The motor is super quiet (won't wake up the kids or the dog), and being able to switch to standing during those long afternoon Zoom calls keeps me way more focused. It's probably the best investment I’ve made for my long-term health.

TimeKettle X1 Interpreter Hub

Since I'm constantly on calls with teams in Europe and Asia, the language barrier used to be a massive drain on my productivity. I picked up the TimeKettle X1 recently, and it’s been a lifesaver for cross-border meetings. It makes the whole global office vibe feel much more seamless.

BenQ ScreenBar Halo

I used to have a bulky desk lamp that took up too much space and caused a nasty glare on my monitor. This BenQ bar just clips onto the top of the screen and lights up the workspace perfectly without hitting the eyes or the screen. The wireless controller is super satisfying to use, and it honestly makes those late-night sessions much easier on the eyes.

I've been moving between countries this year and one thing I still haven't figured out is real time translation in group meetings.1 on 1 is usually fine. Apps can help a bit. But once it turns into 3 or 4 people talking, especially in business meetings with contracts or product details, it gets messy fast.

I had a call recently with a small team in Spain and was basically half listening and half trying to translate in my head. Not great when details actually matter.

I ended up trying an interpretation device, the Timekettle X1, during a group discussion and it handled multiple people better than I expected. It felt closer to real time translator or other translator earbuds for business meetings, but smoother in a group setting.

Curious what others are using? Are you sticking with apps, hiring interpreters, or using tools like translator earbuds or other translation solutions for multilingual teams?
