using world editor, i have recreated 2 ww2-era navy training air fields
the one on the left is super big that i had to use teleport so that i could bring my car on a super high platform, and use drone mode to capture this. you can also see 2 small tire marks on the field and that shows how big it is
left one is the switzerland naval outlying field, and the one on the right is the fleming island naval outlying field, which then became a dragstrip called thunderbolt raceway. the drag strip used the west and east runway till its closure in 1999
the switzerland nolf one is currently having cookie cutter houses built on the site and little remains of it today (both fields are close to my area)
