Wedding shape wear?

Hi All!

im not getting married until next summer but I’ve found my dress 💖

it’s nothing crazy or over special… in fact it’s quite underwhelming 🤭. but I love it because it’s a bateau neckline (2 toddlers; I’ll be bending down all day tending to them… last thing I want is to be constantly worried I’ll flash someone haha!) and it’s the kind of dress that can be altered afterwards so that I could wear it again and again.

it is, however, very heavy viscose (almost like a jersey fabric)and a mermaid shape (it’s a Coast dress if anyone has and experience with them) so it clings and hugs (which is great because I’m curvy)… however the one place it hugs the most is the dreaded mum tum/apron belly.

as it’s a UK summertime wedding, the last thing I want is layers and layers of armour underneath cinching and pulling in all the places. at the moment, I have;

my bra

my ”wear your own bra” shape wear body with shorts (to smooth my back so my bra isn’t visible and also to stop the old chub rub) because I can’t find a shorts body that has a good underwired bra - they all seem to be the same material as the shapewear with no underwire or shaping.

my wed2b wunderskirt mermaid petticoat (which also smooths, which isn’t required but as the dress is extremely bodycon, I figured the more compression the better… right?)

then my dress (which is long sleeve, bateau neckline, from the A/W season so it’s heavier than a summer style).

I am going to be sweltering , aren’t I?

I would really love to find something all in one: like a mermaid smoothing underskirt with built in chum rub shorts and a built in bra.

does such a thing exist?
