Metoprolol & PVCs

30 M 6”2 195 - Active Individual

My doctor prescribed me 12.5mg of metoprolol for my low burden. I get PVCs with exercise or adrenaline. I’m lucky that I don’t get them on a day to day basis if I avoid stressors. I am a little nervous and I’m curious if anyone has had good success on metoprolol.

Secondly, I have a resting heart rate of low 50s. I told the doctor about my concerns of low blood pressure with beta blockers and he said 12.5mg shouldn’t affect bp. I’m partially concerned about HR.

Anyone have great success on beta blockers for low burdens?

Copper Fixed My PVCs - 1 Week Later

I will start with this... I did not get my copper levels checked( also I'm not a Doctor).

I was desperate for an answer and willing to supplement with whatever could cure me of these horrid PVCs.

My PVCs started in 2021. I had a history of SVT when i was a kid but I had two ablations and resolved it. I went to college, played baseball, was a intense athlete, no heart issues. 4 years and a desk job later (2021), I started feeling these flutters when anxious or after workouts.

I tried Magnesium Taurate (helped a little, but made me tired), Vitamin D, B12, Fish Oil, Zinc( for a few days), CoQ10 (helped a lot, but made me extremely fatigued), anti-acids, looked into my posture, etc. Nothing has made me feel the way daily Copper supplements have.

I started on 5/2 and It took 2-3 days of Copper 2mg (removed Vitamin C and Magnesium Taurate) for me to see a noticeable difference.

It is now 1 week later and I have maybe 1-3 PVCs a day. Its amazing! My heartbeat is consistent, its light (I had a lot of issues with strong heart beats), and I did a 2 mile walk/jog today and felt pretty great afterwards.

I hope that as I continue to supplement the remaining 1-3 PVCs a day disappear as well and I can start to heal my mental. Part of me feels this is half the battle. I'm a serial hypochondriac. I feel my heart all the time so any shift or flutter makes me anxious, which probably makes it worse. This problem has been heavy on my mind and body for too long. Im ready to heal and I hope this helps others as well.
