Originally i was gonna make a long description here about what i like and dislike of both groups going one by one of all the characters and how well are has a groups. but not now, maybe i edit it later.

But in short.

OG PHANTOM THIEVES: i like them more individually: Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, Futaba, haru. >!By far my favorite: WOLF, Best persona character!<

Pd: the only ones i like them has a group are Ann and ryuji, for me personally the only reason why they aren't a couple is because if they are, then ann couldn't be a romance option for the player anymore. But thats my personal opinión.

PHANTOM THIEVES X: i don't like them that much individually, but i like them more has a group. Why? Because they fell more has a friend group that doesn't say something and do the opossite.

Example: Ann biggest conflict was s.h and what do they do? The very next chapter after her story they use her to pose naked alone in the house of an unknown man. Ryuji's conflict? Physical abuse from his drunk father and kamoshida breaking his leg, so what do his "friends" do? Beat the shit out of him for no reason.

Not only that but also Morgana Bs drama in haru's chapter.

While the impression i have about the PT X are:

Wind: The one that doesn't end up fitting totally in the group, not because she doesn't know how to socialize, it's because compared to her team mates, she is the only normal person in the group.

Lufel: a talking owl that speaks like is the age 3500 B.C

Luce: That one friend that knows 3 words in another lenguage and won't shut up about it.

Soy: A walking talking ramen enciclopedia

Closer: An hyper active golden retriever.

Even so, they actually fell like a true friend group that knows what things hurt their Friends and they never would make fun of them.

Pd: i don't count ren and nagisa has characters because i never likes the whole "self insert" BS, they aren't characters for me.

Even so. What do you guys think? Would the game would have been the same if they switched cast?

Been waiting almost a year for this

So i'm gonna use another game as an example, in Assassin's creed brotherhood of ps3 (Damn i'm old), You could assign teams for missions like in tasks. It was a more developed system, your characters Lvl up, they could fail missions if they werent strong enough, and if i remember correctly the first character you choose for the mission is the team leader.

So with that idea in mind, persona games are always about bonds, so i choose the teams with the idea "yeah, this team would have a good chemistry, they would get along". In my head always the first character is the team leader.

Again with the bonds idea, what about if you send the same characters together in missions and they beggin to have a bond or friendship meter that when it get to max you recibe extra rewards for the missions, and if in cannon those characters have a close bond example Ann and ryuji, you get even more rewards

I know task are a minimum part of the game but i just wanted to say this.
