I’m doing some research before launching a streetwear brand, and I’d rather build something people actually want instead of copying what’s already out there.

I’d love to hear your opinions on any of these:

• What type of streetwear do you actually buy? (minimalist, oversized, luxury, Y2K, vintage, techwear, Japanese-inspired, graphic-heavy, etc.)
• What clothing pieces do you buy the most? (hoodies, tees, sweatpants, cargos, zip-ups, jackets, shorts, hats, accessories)
• What kinds of designs catch your attention? Big back prints? Small embroidered logos? Puff print? Washed/vintage looks? Anime? Nature? Cars? Abstract? Typography?
• What makes you instantly decide not to buy a brand?
• What’s something you wish more streetwear brands would make?
• What’s a brand you think gets it right, and why?

Feel free to be brutally honest. Even if it’s just one opinion, I’d really appreciate it. I’m trying to create something people genuinely enjoy wearing rather than another generic brand with a random logo slapped on a hoodie.
