My shrimp keep dying after molting :( what am I doing wrong? Please help!!
I started off with 12 shrimp 3 and a half weeks ago. The first shrimp died within 3 days, the day after a molt.
The second shrimp died on week 2 again within a few days after a molt.
Shrimp 3 died 2 days ago, one day after a molt.
shrimp 4 died today, 8 hours maximum after a molt.
Each molt has been complete and the shrimp has gotten away fine but then a death always occurs. I need help!!!
I also suspect I have one berried female, but not 100% sure. Otherwise, shrimp are still growing and have a much vibrant colour, very active once the tank light comes on. I feed them every other day and keep the food in for 2-3 hours maximum. Important to note that some shrimp have molted and been fine but I’m noticing the deaths after a molt always.
