Standings after block matches
Me Brett Savage 22
Blocky 20
Cranberry and jubby 19
Looks like we may need a tie breaker between Brett and savage unless Oiwa and uemura both lose in the semis. In which case 3 way tiebreaker.

Me 12
Blocky 10
Brett Savage and jubby 9
Cranberry 7
Who would have though at this point in the tourney oskar Jake Lee sanada Aaron Wolf yuto and even great Okahn would have more points and zsj.
Not that he needs it. Like shingo he is a guy that can beat anyone and lose to anyone and it really doesn't hurt him all that much.
After night 4 here are the updated standings.
Me and blocky 8 pts
Brett and savage 7 pts
Cranberry and jubby 6 pts
Shingo and Oleg was great. Yuto again putting in a great performance in a loss. He may become the new ishii. Puts on great matches shows lots of fighting spirit, will beat some guys he shouldn't, but will never be The Guy. He doesn't have the work rate of ishii but he has more charisma. And finally sanada puts on a good match since his return. Makes sense that he is one of the guys to beat Tsuji. And he did it clean for most of the match.
Not much to report. I will be counting shotas forfeits as points for the wrestlers same as they count for the regular g1 standings. And it doesn't matter anyway since he lost his only match so everyone in his block just gets a free win. And somehow that means zsj is the only one in the block not on 2 wins right now.
Sorry cranberry.
Standings are as follows.
Me. Blocky, brett, red, and jubby at 6
Cranberry at 5.
Posting to see if anyone else thinks we should redraft teams post shotas injury. 4 of the 6 teams had Shota on them so I believe it would be a two team race for the win most likely if we don't.
I am open to any input regarding whether we should redraft and how we should. I would like to have a decision by the end of day tomorrow so we can redraft if needed before the 18th.
Options for redraft include everyone just being allowed to submit a new team of four within the regular rules leaving shota where he was. We could also just have anyone who drafted Shota pick someone else in the block of a lower point value. I think this is still fair because anything is better than taking a 0 for shota.

So looking at the schedule I do think we should have rankings done before the show where the final two entrants are known. I don't know that 5 days is enough to have everyone do rankings and then draft teams.
So this will be the place to post rankings. Please post as soon as you can so we can have the draft values ready by the 4th of July. That gives everyone a week to look at their teams and decide what they want.
I am also hopeful that there are no injuries (newman) or weird Douki like things that happen last minute but if so we can figure out what we need to do for that.
Raining can be 20-1 or within the blocks however you would like I will make it work. I am going to try to post my rankings later today.
Getting ready for our G1 fantasy draft. It will be similar to the bosj one we did earlier this year.
Participants will rank the wrestlers 20-1 and averages will be taken to produce a value for each wrestler.
Each person will then pick 2 wrestlers per block with a total cost no more than 20 pts.
Wrestlers will earn a point per win. Winner of a semi final will earn 2 pts and winner of the final will get 4 pts. Most points wins.
If anyone is interested and sees this before the first night starts dm me and come join our bosj fantasy draft. The rules are in the group but basically you have 20 pts to spend on 4 wrestlers (2 from each block). You get points for wins and points for picking the eventual tourney winner.
If anyone is interested we are running a fantasy draft league for best of super junior 2026.
We are doing a ranked draft system where you will pick 2 wrestlers from each block worth no more than 20 pts. Wrestlers will be ranked within their blocks with higher status wrestlers costing more points.
Wins will earn you points as well as extra points for having the tournament winner on your team.
Please reach out if you would like to join. We are still taking rankings if you join by the end of the month and will be picking teams in May.
