Alamo vs. Cactus

Hello: I have a car booked (but not paid for yet) through Alamo. It includes third party liability insurance and roadside assistance, and is cheaper than Cactus, and for a more deluxe car.

I saw many people's comments that Hertz has very misleading prices online, and saw one person's comment who had a good experience with Alamo. Wondering if anyone else can chime in about whether I am likely to be hit with additional fees upon check in at Alamo. The Hertz website would provide zero information about the cost of insurance, whereas Alamo's seemed transparent.

Los Barriles in late May/early June

Hi—

Planning a trip to Baja for late May and early June. It will be myself and my two young adult kids and their friends. Will Los Barriles be too hot and windy to enjoy?

We’d like to spend time on the beach and maybe head to La Paz for a snorkel trip. Would like a town with casual restaurant options and maybe a fun bar or two.

We will have a car and plan to stay in an Airbnb.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Los Barriles or suggestions for other towns to stay in. La Paz sounds nice but we want to be able to stay on (or very near to) a swimmable beach. thanks!!
