Just a section of my 2 week road trip from AL to MT!!

Notable stops include: Sand Dunes NP, Ouray, Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP, Mesa Verde NP

A lot of these photos are just random pull offs on the side of the road. Everything in CO is so unbelievably green in May, and the weather was perfectly warmish in the day/chilly at night. If I could do it all over again, I’d camp in the sand dunes for a night.

Dispersed sites/rented a few campgrounds (mainly in MOAB). Was my first time solo camping and I slept with my 9mm but nothing happened :) Did have to sleep in my car one night in Moab because the wind speeds got 40mph and I was blowing away. Used my durston pole tent and will probably get something heavier for future non backpacking use.
