As someone who plays the PC/Console version, R6 Mobile feels like a huge downgrade.

I played R6 Mobile yesterday after spending a lot of time on the PC/console version, and honestly, I came away pretty disappointed.

The first thing that stood out was the graphics. They just don't look good. I know it's a mobile game, but look at what Valorant Mobile has shown—it's possible to have a clean, polished art style without sacrificing performance. R6 Mobile just feels dated.

The loadouts are another issue. Why are operators missing their original weapons? I wanted to play Deimos with his AR, but instead we're stuck with altered loadouts. Rainbow Six operators are iconic because of their unique gadgets, weapons, and identities. Changing those just makes them feel less authentic.

Speaking of authenticity, why were the default operator skins changed? The original PC designs already look great. Just use those. The mobile versions honestly look pretty bad and don't capture the same feel as the originals.

Performance also needs work. Supported devices should have a 120 FPS option. This is a competitive shooter, and higher frame rates make a noticeable difference in responsiveness and aiming.

And the optics... why are they locked behind purchases? On PC, optics are just attachments—you pick whatever sight you prefer. Having to pay for different optics is such a weird decision. Customization shouldn't be monetized when it directly affects how comfortable the game feels to play.

I really want R6 Mobile to succeed because I love Rainbow Six, but right now it feels like it's changing things that never needed changing. Instead of reinventing the game, just make it as close to the PC/console experience as possible while optimizing it for mobile.
