parents wont support education, dunno how to pay for school
hi, so basically i just finished my freshman year of college and my parents are refusing to pay for my spring semester. they have a fair amount of money, which is why i barely got any aid from my school or fafsa. i cant get any student loans without a cosigner, i even got denied for ones that dont need a cosigner because i'm 19 and obviously don't have credit history. my school financial aid office is no help either, and they said that unless i'm living independently, they cant give me any help. school starts next week and i have no classes registered. i have nothing that i can do, i worked really hard in high school and first year of college just to go to a mediocre school, and i'm basically unable to attend simply because i don't have parents that support me. literally what is there to do for a kid in my situation? and don't talk to me about community college, because i worked way too hard to end up there, and i'm already on track for my bachelor's, which is all that matters to me. please. there has to be a way.
