Should I resit chemistry a level?
Hi guys. I just got my a level results. I got an A* in psychology, A biology, B chemistry. I have been predicted three A*s my entire sixth form so the B in chemistry was especially shocking. It has done a number on my self esteem and i’m wondering if i resit. I have a place at Nottingham to study pharmacology and in the future i’m looking to work either as a neuropharmacologist or in patent law. I’m wondering if I retake chemistry. I never considered myself a B student and am finding jt hard to get over. Will it make it easier for me to apply to internships in my field? Could I retake it alongside my first year in uni? is it worth me retaking it? I don’t want to be left behind by my friends and retake however I want to do what’s best for my career. I’m also wondering if Nottingham is the best uni. It’s really good for pharmacology but I’d like someone to confirm that. I don’t want to go to uni in london, or oxford or cambridge. I’ve already got my place at notts however I have been doubting myself and my decisions in the past few weeks.
All in all. is my *AB ok or should I resit.
