Hey im very full about a topic. I'm going to pour my heart out.
I dont like “i hate zhenya, i love ilay” like comments on social media. Everywhere i saw kind of this comments and i hate it. I dont understand why people keep comparing CNA and Passion. It is bother me everytime. Why is no one talking about Ilay is a worse black flag than Zhenya? His desire to be a cannibal, his desire to eat Taeui, and his complete lack of character development. Ilay 🍇 Taeui after the bus stop scene btw Taeui cryed and he didnt stop. All the black flags has 🍇 and nobody not better. I certainly don't support it. But if we comparing them, there are many reasons like that. For this reason I still dont understand why CNA and Zhenya are consistently considered WORSE. In the around people are says Ilay best, Caesar best than Zhenya etc. Lol… Caesar shot Leewon three times without listening to him and never apologized and final was nonsense. But everybody loves him and hate Zhenya :D Also, he slept with many people, but out of jealousy, he locked Leewon up in his house and acted childishly towards him. He was even ready to shoot a young child just for standing in front of him and touching him. Don't forget that nonsense. Today I came across a comment that said Caesar was LOVING and NON-TOXIC. Comedy XD I read the CNA novel three times from beginning to end, and I found plenty of reasons to understand Zhenya's character development. I'm not even talking about the 🍇 incident when they were enemies from the start. When they became lovers, he tried very hard and patiently waited for Taekjoo. Even when Taekjoo prioritized his work, he just stayed awake all day for him, silently watching him even during their worst fights. He didn't hit or hurt Taekjoo for this reason. And Taekjoo says “Go find yourself someone else“ before. This was heartbreaking, and Zhenya was upset. But didnt hurt him. This was a development I didn't expect from a character written as a crazy psychopath. And sleeping while cuddling with Taekjoo gives him peace. Even when hes disguised and no one recognizes him, Zhenya recognizes his lover. Zhenya adores him. Even after his amnesia, he was very regretful when they talked about the 🍇 incident. When Taekjoo left him, he was alone for weeks but didn't go after him. When Taekjoo returned to the island, he almost died when the plane crashed, and Zhenya was ready to shoot himself until he heard Taekjoo's voice. So, this psychopath's character is so well-written that I don't hate him. But I definitely don't agree that Ilay and Caesar were better. Nobody was as good a lover as Zhenya. At least Zhenya felt remorse. They, on the other hand, were the same person from the beginning. They didn't change for the men they loved. So I love Zhenya and Taekjoo, no else matters.
