Dubai traffic fine objection — court experience?

Hey all

I got a AED 500 fine for “Interrupting traffic.”

I stopped for about 2 minutes near my building after getting a tyre warning, switched on the hazards, checked the tyre, and left.

I objected through Dubai Public Prosecution and now have a Traffic Court hearing in Al Awir.

Has anyone had a similar fine cancelled or reduced even though you technically stopped there? Also, if the judge finds you guilty, were there any extra court fees on top of the fine?

Looking for first-hand experiences.

Thanks🙌
