Was playing a survival world with my kid and he got tired of breaking hundreds of leaves just to get a few apples.

So I put together a quick datapack called Apple Bonanza. Leaves now drop extra apples, with a small chance for golden apples (and a rare surprise spider trap that scared the life out of him the first time it happened lol).

You can tweak the drop rates in-game through chat.
