Scared, looking for positive experiences or advise
Hello friends. I am currently being worked up by my OBGYN for suspected ashermans. I had a D&C 10 weeks ago for a MMC/blighted ovum and have not yet had a period. I have had severe, cyclical period pains at 4 weeks and 8 weeks post D&C with zero bleeding. I am sure I am ovulating. My OB ordered labs including HCG, hormones, TSH and all were normal. HCG was 0. I have an upcoming TVUS with SIS in 2 weeks. After doing a ton of research I am fully expecting there to be adhesions in the cervix that are obstructing any bleeding from happening, which of course would also prevent sperm from entering the uterus and cause infertility. I have already scheduled an appointment with Dr Isaacson in NOLA for a hysteroscopy but of course it won’t be for 8 weeks which was the soonest. At this point I am just so devastated as this happened after our second miscarriage this year. It’s devastating enough to deal with RPL but now of course we have another barrier with ashermans. We have no living children and want a baby terribly. Does anyone have success stories on cervical adhesions that went on to successfully conceive? Or success after seeing Dr I? Or any other positive outcomes? I am just so defeated. I am so sorry to anyone reading this that has been through similar situations.
