Acurast Korean Community AMA Recap with Wecryptotogether 🇰🇷

Last week, we had an exciting AMA with the Korean community, with around 1,500 listeners joining us to learn more about Acurast and the future of decentralized compute.

We covered everything from how smartphones can become Acurast Processors to the role of ACU, real-world AI and robotics use cases, partnerships, and Acurast’s plans for Korea.

Decentralized Compute
Everyday and unused smartphones can contribute computing resources to Acurast, turning globally distributed devices into decentralized infrastructure.

Network Activity
Acurast has already surpassed 900M+ transactions and reached approximately 600K deployments, demonstrating significant activity across the network.

ACU Utility
ACU sits at the heart of the ecosystem, supporting compute consumption, network fees, staking, Staked Compute, network security, and governance.

AI, Robotics & Web3
We explored how decentralized, hardware-secured and confidential compute can support AI agents, robotics, and Web3 applications while providing an alternative to traditional centralized cloud infrastructure.

Growing the Network
Through initiatives like Cloud Rebellion, ecosystem integrations, developer tools, and partnerships, Acurast is working to bring more devices, developers, businesses, and applications into decentralized compute.

And we're just getting started in Korea 🇰🇷

We're excited to continue growing alongside the Korean community through localized campaigns, creators, media, developers, projects, and the wider Web3 ecosystem.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last week and made the AMA such a great experience. ❤️

For those familiar with Acurast, curious to hear what you guys think about the project so far.

Not sure how many people here have come across the project yet, so I thought I’d ask. If you’ve been following Acurast for a while, I’d be interested to hear what initially caught your attention or what you find interesting about the project.
And if you’ve only come across it recently, what was your first impression?
Would genuinely be nice to hear some thoughts from the PH Web3 community.
