Hey all, just a quick question regarding ribbons. I have a mess dinner coming up, and I will be wearing ribbons. I received my SSM NATO last year, so obviously I can wear the ribbon for that. I also am entitled to the Canadian Peacekeeping Medal, for a separate deployment. My SCWO has it sitting on his desk, and has emailed me about giving it to me. Now obviously he has not given it to me else I wouldn't be asking, but am I entitled to wear the ribbon for that aswell? Or do I need to be physically handed this thing in order to be able to wear the ribbon for it? No one seems to have a 100% sure answer and my unit clerk is away on leave. Just don't want to be caught in an awkward spot if I am wearing something I shouldn't be.

Hey all, I'm set to be posted from Ontario to BC this summer. Me and the fam have a house here, but because BC is just simply out of our price range, we are thinking of keeping the house and renting it. Because of the way my trade is we are expecting to be back here in Ontario within 5-8 years max. Was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation, and if you had any tips, ie. would you rent to someone in your current unit.
