Has anyone left on an expired Visa and been allowed back in?

My husband has been undergoing medical care from a work related accident in the US since last year. We obtained our D7 visas and moved here in April with the intent to retire here.
We used our two entries already as we had to go back to the US for another surgery due to his work accident. He will need to go back at least one more time in September for follow ups with his surgeons. Our relocation company told us it is allowed since it is medical and told us to keep documentation from his doctors.
I’m just worried about leaving with an expired visa and then returning a couple of weeks later and not being able to enter the country.
Anyone had anything similar medical related?

👀 The sun damage is intense!

Rach is crying about having to put baby furniture together by herself. I guess hubby said you’re on your own.😂
Holy cow her legs are horrendous! 😱

Skeletor’s obsession with her son’s girlfriend is wild.

I get liking who you children date and hoping that it lasts forever but she’s soooo over the top about her son’s girlfriend. They’re so young and the chances of staying together are slim. She may need to be checked into a mental hospital if they break up.
The hashtags MIL/DIL are weird too. 🥴

Hair salon in Portimao that does great highlights/lowlights.

Recently moved to the Algarve from the US.
Looking for a hair salon that specializes in color - hi lights and lowlights, maybe gray blending. Huge bonus if they speak English.
Any recommendations?
Also in search of a great nail salon.
Any suggestions?
