I made $40K through my LLC and haven't paid any taxes yet

I started making money through my LLC earlier this year and I'm at around $40K in profit so far.

I just realized I probably should have been making estimated tax payments during the year, but I haven't paid anything yet.

Since we're already well into the year, should I make a payment now or wait until the next estimated tax deadline? I'm trying to get caught up before I make this worse.

CRM for Small Business Recommendations

My wife and I run a small business together, and we've reached the point where sticky notes, spreadsheets, and our inbox aren't helping us anymore.

Nothing about our sales process is complicated. Most of the work is simply remembering who we talked to, when we need to follow up, and keeping all the customer information in one place. We don't need sales forecasts, fancy reports, or a dozen dashboards that we'll never look at.

What we do need is somewhere we can save notes from conversations, upload documents, set reminders, and pull everything up from our phones if we're away from the office.

I'd also like to customize it so it matches the way we work instead of changing our process to fit the software.

I've looked at a few CRMs already, but a lot of them feel like they're built for large sales teams instead of small businesses.

If you were starting over today, what CRM would you choose? I'm looking for something that's easy to live with every day, not something that takes weeks to figure out.

Florida llc vs Wyoming llc?

I do most of my business in Florida, and I’m trying to figure out where it makes the most sense to form my LLC.

Florida has an annual fee, plus I’d have the cost of a registered agent. I keep seeing Wyoming and New Mexico mentioned because of their lower fees, so I started looking into forming the LLC in one of those states instead.

The part that confuses me is that since I’m actually doing business in Florida, it seems like I would still need to register the out-of-state LLC as a foreign LLC in Florida and pay Florida’s fees anyway.

If that’s the case, is there really any benefit to forming in Wyoming or New Mexico instead of just forming the LLC in Florida?

What am I missing here?
