Aux guerres s’ajoutent les feux de forêt dévastateurs et les canicules meurtrières. Alors que des millions de travailleurs s’appauvrissent et sont forcés de respirer un air pollué, Elon Musk a célébré son premier billion de dollars.

Tout ce chaos souffle sur les braises de la lutte des classes.

Ces dernières années, la colère des masses a éclaté partout dans le monde : du Népal au Bangladesh, en passant par les soulèvements contre l’ICE aux États-Unis et les grèves générales en Europe.

Malgré leur héroïsme, ces luttes n'ont pas réussi à résoudre les problèmes fondamentaux des masses. Ce qu’il manquait, c’était une compréhension claire de la nécessité de s’en prendre à la racine du problème, le capitalisme, ainsi qu’une organisation politique capable de le faire.

The history of the United States is the history of class struggle.

The First American Revolution broke the chains of British colonial rule, but left slavery intact and expanded through the dispossession of Indigenous nations.

The Second American Revolution, the Civil War and Reconstruction, abolished chattel slavery and helped industrialise the US to become a major imperialist power.

But today, a tiny capitalist class owns the factories, offices, banks, logistics networks, and technology that the working class built with its labor.

The wealth created by millions is appropriated by a handful of billionaires, while imperialist wars, exploitation, inequality, and ecological destruction are the inevitable products of capitalism.

The task of our generation is the Third American Revolution: the overthrow of capitalism and the establishment of a socialist society, where the means of production are democratically controlled by the organized working class, production is planned for human need instead of private profit, and exploitation is abolished.

As the United States marks its 250th anniversary, we must organize for a real change!

Many people assume that because Marxists fight for international working class unity, we must oppose every demand for national self determination, the opposite is true.

Bolshevik Leninists defend the democratic right of oppressed nations to decide their own future, including the right to separate and form an independent state if that is what the majority democratically chooses, this was Lenin's position, and this is ours as well.

In Brittany, Corsica, Scotland, Wales, Palestine, Ireland and other historically oppressed nations, as well as among Indigenous peoples around the world, we oppose national oppression and defend the right of these peoples to determine their own future.

A nation held by force can never be the basis for genuine fraternity between peoples, at the same time, we do not advocate separation in every case, the national question remains secondary to the class struggle, our goal is not to replace one capitalist state with another, but to unite workers of every nation in the common struggle against capitalism and for socialism.

As Bolshevik Leninists, we are also internationalists, we do not believe that socialism can be fully achieved within the confines of a single country, the struggle for socialism is international by its very nature, and the emancipation of the working class ultimately depends on the spread of the socialist revolution across national borders.

We therefore support the right to self determination while arguing that the strongest guarantee of freedom for all nations lies in a voluntary socialist federation, based on equality, democracy, and international solidarity, rather than coercion or chauvinism.

Workers have no interest in oppressing other peoples, only on the basis of complete equality and the free right to choose can genuine international unity be built.

More than a century after Lenin wrote these words, capitalism itself continues to confirm them.

Marxism explains the laws of capitalism, the concentration of capital, the extraction of surplus value, the inevitability of crisis, and the irreconcilable antagonism between labour and capital.

Every imperialist war, every economic crash, every austerity programme, every attack on workers' living standards reaffirms the central truth of Marx's analysis, capitalism is a historically limited system, riddled with contradictions it cannot overcome.

The bourgeoisie has repeatedly declared Marxism dead, yet material reality continues to resurrect it (The Economist is lost at that).

To study Marxism is not merely to interpret the world, but to prepare to change it.
