Once you go Mac you can't got back

Saw I just bough the new Macbook Neo 13 inches, 256GB in Citrus color, and been using it for 4 hrs now setting up mostly, and it's already exceeding my expectations, like the screen is soo sharp and crisp, the apps and safari browser opens like butter, so ligth-weight and portable, the only thing I dislike about it is the keyboard, doesn't sound right for my taste, also the general build quality of the laptop is also mid, which is fine as that's what I expected bfore getting it.

I bought it due to the on-going prime day offer, and also saw other Macbook's like the 2026 edition and the Macbook 2025 edition on sale right now as well, so if any of you are planning on buying a Macbook whether Air, Pro or the Neo, this might be the good time to go for it. I'll leave the link below to the Macbook Neo 13 inches the one I got.

Last week I asked about your wishlist, did any of it go on sale?

Prime day has officially begun, and man it's an exciting time to be browsing deals.

Last week, I asked the community members what's on their wishlist, and the responses were quite interesting, many of you were looking for macbook, laptops, upgrading your current gaming rig, gaming consoles, SSDs and even the kindle devices.

Since now that deals are live, did any of the items you wre looking for go on a discount? or did you end up finding something completely different?

If you did come across any worth while deals, put it in the comments section down below, let's help each other with finding out iteams that are worth-while.

What makes you say, "Yep, that's actually a good deal"?

Hey everyone, one thing I've noticed about shopping during big sales is that excitement can sometimes lead to impulse buying.

Now I usually ask myself one question: "Would I still want this if it wasn't on sale?"

It has saved me from buying a lot of things I didn't actually needed or want in the first place.

What's your own shopping rule, when it comes to shopping during big sale events? Maybe it'll help someone else in the community make a better buying decision.

What's one item you refuse to buy unless it's on sale?

Hey everyone, I'm convinced that everyone has at least one product they refuse to pay full price for. Maybe it's because you've seen it discounted too many times, or maybe you just know it's worth waiting.

For me it would be video games, on launch the video games are way too overpriced, so I rather wait for it to go on sale.

How about you all, what's the one item you always wait to go on sale before pulling the trigger? also have you ever regretted waiting?

What's on your wishlist?

Just with the Prime Day around the corner, I'm curious to know what everyone is planning to buy or hoping to see certain items go on discount.

Some people wait all year to upgrade their laptop, others finally grab a Kindle device, some upgrade their gaming setup, or even just stock up on everyday household items.

Personally, I think the fun part is seeing which deals are actually worth it and which one's only look good at first glance.

It would be interesting to see what people in this community are actually looking forward to, Drop your wishlist down below in the comments section.

Well, not too many options

Well as the title states, I have to gift a laptop to someone, this someone is a heavy gamer, so the laptop that I am aiming for is atleast with RTX 5070.

After browsing the internet, I have found these in my budget:

  • ASUS ROG Strix G16 - with AMD Ryzen 9, RTX 5070 8GB, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD
  • Asus TUF F16 - this is the 2025 version, comes with RTX 50708GB, 16gb ddr5, and intel core i7 15th Gen
  • Lenovo Legion 5i 16 inches comes with Intel Core ultra 9, RTX 5060, 1TB SSD, and 32GB RAM

I personally have used Lenovo laptop's for quite sometime now, and have no complaints with it, I have also heard ASUS laptop are great, so asking what do you guys suggest I go with, also the max. budget is 6k.

For the e-readers

Hey everyone,

Being a reader myself, I thought of posting about a guide on all the different models of the Amazon Kindle devices.

Before I begin, note this isn't any guru-advise, just getting your footing right.

  1. Kindle Standard - Perfect for readers on a budget, it's light-weight, and the most compact Kindle.
  2. Kindle Paperwhite & Paperwhite Signature edition - A 7 inch screen and more detailed than the classic Kindle, the Paperwhite is also waterproof IPX8 and a longer battery life. The signature edition has an automatic brightness adjustment (very helpful for most readers), 32GB Storage and also supports wireless charging.
  3. Kindle Colorsoft - similar to Paperwhite, this Colorsoft version also comes in Signature edition, instead of B&W, this has some color, so perfect for those readers that read comics, graphic novels.
  4. Kindle Scribe - lastly, best for students or note-takers in general, much bigger screen of 10.2 inches to 11 inches, glare-free display, also comes with stylus for writting notes. Note Scribe requires bluetooth connection for audiobooks.

Quick summary:

  • Budget-friendly reading, go with Kindle Standard
  • Premium reading experience, go with Paperwhite Signature Edition
  • Comics & illustrated books, go with Kindle Colorsoft
  • Reading + writing & note-taking, go with Kindle Scribe

I'm curious if you already own a Kindle device, which model do you have?

And what's one thing you genuinely like (or dislike) about it that first time buyers should know?

Why can't I see the pre-order for GTA 6

So I was checking out on the official website of Rockstar Games, for the pre-order of the upcoming GTA 6, but can't seem to find it, it's only wishlist, not pre-order the game, from what I know the pre-order have already started world wide, so why can't I see the pre-order? am I missing something here?

The Pre-order have begun

So at the Sony's State of Play they revealed the extended gameplay of the Marvel's Wolverine for the PS5, and also announced the Pre-order have begun.

  • Standard Edition priced at $69.99
  • Digital Deluxe Edition priced at $79.99
  • And the Edition upgrade priced for $10

You can visit the official PlayStation Store on your PS5 to pre-order the game.

Seeing the extended gameplay, I am so pleased how this game will turn out, most importantly Wolverine doesn't fight like Spider-Man so I am happy they got that right, and the villians in the game are insane.

If GTA 6 wasn't coming out this year, it would be the Game of the Year 2026 for me.

Regarding Peter McKinnon's recent video

So I was watching Peter's McKinnon YouTube video, for those who don't know him, he is a photographer and also a YouTuber, this video of his was regarding journaling and I couldn't help but think about how powerful journaling can really can be, like in his video he showed how he journals, what little things he notes down, in his video, he said you can write down literally anything and everything, the thing that caught my attention the most was, he takes a picture (any) and then using a thin transparent film paper writes on it, like what he was feeling for that day.

Looking at his video, I feel like starting to journal, like I found these online Planner notebooks, some even comes with stickers, since this way I will build a habit of writing things down.

Don't forget to let them know you appreciate them

It's 1st of June, a day to celeberate parenthood, a day when they were officially became mom/dad what a lovely day to celebrate Parent's Day.

Wishing to all the parent's out here, a happy Parent's Day 2026.

Our parents spend years supporting us, worrying about us, helping us through difficult times, and celebrating our achievements, often without expecting anything in return. As we get older, life gets busy and it's easy to forget to tell them how much they mean to us.

Whether it's a simple phone call, spending time together, helping them with something they've been putting off, or giving them a small gift, sometimes the gesture matters more than the price.

What's one thing your parents taught you that has stayed with you throughout your life?

Which Nintendo Switch model actually makes the most sense in 2026?

The Nintendo Switch lineup can be surprisingly confusing if you’re trying to buy one right now. I used to own handhelds back in the PSP days, so I still really enjoy this category of gaming devices and the Switch is easily the most popular modern handheld console.

The Nintendo Switch Models:

  1. Nintendo Switch (Original) - LCD screen, full dockable, still supports full game library.
  2. Nintendo Switch V2 - Improved kickstand + better performance.
  3. Nintendo Switch OLED - huge upragde to the screen OLED instead of the LCD screen, better performance.
  4. Nintendo Switch Lite - the most affordable Switch version, smaller screen and battery life, also note this version can't be docked to the TV.
  5. Nintendo Switch 2 - the recent one, and so far the most powerful one of them all, much bigger batter, and can output at 4K in docked mode.

The game library as we would know is huge, expected from a Nintendo handheld console, the games are costly though, unless you buy second hand or during an offer.

Quick Summary:

  1. Best overall experience → Switch OLED
  2. Budget option → Switch Lite
  3. Long term performance → The latest Switch 2
  4. Basic entry option → Original/V2

If you’re unsure which one fits your use case, drop a comment and I’ll try to help.

Common mistakes you'll make when building your PC for the first time

So I have seen quite a few posts here on Reddit, regarding building a PC, especially the perfect builts, well as a first time builder, one is likely to make a mistake, so this post isn't a guru's guide so you don't make any mistake, it's rather just that you don't make the most common mistake.

Common mistakes I see people making:

  1. Not doing enough research - as this might be the most obvious one, but I have seen people not researching their PC parts, like their reviews, parts compatibility and then comes the sad part of returns or looking for refund.
  2. Going over the budget - the classic one, trying to go over the budget and not sticking to it, I would suggest, if for example your budget is 3KAED, make sure the built cost you around 2.7 -2.8K AED since that left money will eventually be used on something.
  3. Cheaping out on things that you shouldn't cheap out on - well myself building a PC, I spent extra money of getting the best GPU at that time, and well ended up cheaping out on the RAM (got 8GB DDR4) and started seeing lag on chrome browser, so please don't cheap out on things like RAM, CPU, PSU or even storage, you can adjust on PC case, fan cooling, or even the RGB lighting.
  4. Comparing your build too much to others - there will always be someone with a better setup. Build based on your own needs and budget.

What are some mistakes you have seen people make when building their pc for the first time, share it in the comments down below, as it could help someone building their pc.

The 2026 Game of the Year releases this week

It's the final week of May, and it's time for 007 First Light from one of my absolute favorite game developers, when this was first released my jaw dropped seeing it's gameplay, and just few days remaining for the game official launch, which is on the 27th of May. Called it already this is going to be the GOTY 2026 winner. Uncharted in James Bond Style, well count me in.
