Safest way to remove excess/smeared sealant without harming van?

Hey all, coming back for more community wisdom on how to best remove sealant thats dried onto different areas of the van? I discovered some (many) leaks on my van that the previous owner "forgot" to mention. So i had to cover them up asap and not being a DIY person by any means, i got the job done and 99% of the seals covered BUT its messy as hell.

I used 3m marine sealant 4000, if that info help any and the van is a 01 roadtrek :)

I just want to know how to remove any excess, dry sealant that is in the side of the van, slightly on windows, on the fiberglass hull, etc., without picturing or breaking anything. Its not that messy but it hurts my eyes to look at lol. It had to be done otherwise id be driving a pool. So to anyone about to buy a van, check it out as its raining if possible or immediately when rain passes!

Place that checks an RV/Van propane system?

Hey all, i just got a (new to me) class b van/rv/camper and was wondering if there are any small/local/mom & pop places around orlando that do inspections + testing for these style of propane systems?

Ive seen the ads for those bigger/chain stores like bluecompass, rv world, etc., but prefer to shop small/local if i can and tend to trust those bigger/fast moving places less ( scheduling + pricing is always all over the place and some tend to try and upsell you).

I just want to make sure the system is safe before i head out on a maiden voyage with my new rig but if its the only place in town offering this service then so be it. Any tips are appreciated and as always thanks to the community for any insight!

Help with being too verbose?

Hey all, Im an amateur/novice writer and im struggling with getting to the point when writing. Currently, im working on a fantasy book and we all know those have details galore (about scenery, characters, abilities, etc.). I wouldnt say im going into too much detail about the minutia of things but more so im just writing lengthy as hell sentences. I dont want my readers bored/fatigued after the first scene because i drew it out too long.

The thing is, I cant help it, this is how i speak irl, its how i think. Im trying to edit this as best i can but then i find myself rewriting entire paragraphs because the "flow" is now changed after shortening one sentence. Im a wordy person in general, so any advice on not just being concise but when and where to best use whatever advice youll give me will be greatly appreciated!

After 7 years I finally joined the club!

Ive been looking into van life since around 2019 and always thought vans were neat! After many years of saving, reading up on it and all the learning (this community is a great resource!), i finally pulled the trigger and drove off with my new (to me) van! Say hello to my 2000 road trek versatile! Still workshopping the name, but open to suggestions! Cant wait for general weekending and vacationing in this beaut!

Hey all, ive recently moved to the longwood/altamonte area and was looking for a small/local cleaning service. Ive used the bigger cleaning agents in the past (molly maid, etc.) and didn't really enjoy their "touch". It felt too big box for me and I'd prefer to have the same person clean my home, establish a rapport with them, to the point of them having a key to let themselves in. Anyone know of someone who's business fits this criteria (trusting, good work, fair price)?
