I have an interview loop coming up for one of the more niche roles (ADC Engineer) at AWS. I did the loop 6 months ago for an L5 and got rejected but was told I was close, just missed a couple technical things but did well on the LP's. I was told they didn't want to down level me because I seemed right on the edge of L5 (not sure how legit this is but it's not my question). The one I am interviewing for now is an L4 position though and I was wondering if the difficulty in interviews actually does change between levels or if it's just same story different pay?
