This comment lives in my head rent free

This is the reason I will never stop writing angst.

(didn't redact the 'Toasty' because that's not even remotely close to my username on Ao3)

How do you handle comments like these?

For context: I started a new work (I currently have 7 ongoing fics, and I post 1 chapter a day for one of those ongoing fics) and this is the first comment I got

A part of me wants to be really petty and push back updates for the fics they mentioned by a week, but another part of me gets it; It always sucks when you know a fic you really like is going to take a while longer to update.

However, complaining about it on other works by the same author feels kinda??? rude??? Not to mention one of the fics they talked about got a new chapter A DAY BEFORE THEY MADE THAT COMMENT.

So... how do you handle comments like these? Do you just ignore them or...?
