Can I close a UC claim when I've been asked for a standard review?
Long story short I suffer REALLY bad with my mental health and I've seen all these horror stories about reviews and my anxiety is hitting the roof to the point it's consumed me, I'm not eating and I'm crying non stop.
I'm due to move in with my partner and his parents due to struggling to cope living alone at the minute due to my personal circumstances in the next few months and with his combined income I wouldn't be entitled anymore so the claim would be closing.
Can I just close the claim or will the review happen anyway regardless? It's asking for 4 months bank statements.
I'd rather not have the stress and aggravation of going through it all if I can just close the claim earlier than planned by a few weeks for the sake of my anxiety.
Has anyone done this during a review request and what was the outcome?
